According to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), in the year 2000 alone, 876,213 persons were reported missing in the United States. For every person that goes missing an average of 12 people are left behind to wonder where they are and what has happened to them. This means - right now, as you read this - there are approximately 10,514,556 people in our country who are suffering from this epidemic proportioned crisis.

In Memory of Julia Dawson of Sparta, Michigan. Julia went missing after a holiday shopping trip in Sparta on December 11, 2004. Tragically, Julia was found murdered around 15 miles north of Sparta on January 3, 2005.
