was set up during the original search for Tristen .
TOPIC: Unveiling
of the missing person billboard, featuring Tristen “Buddy” Myers, who
went missing near this area on October 5, 2000; three years,
one month and one day ago.
SUBTOPIC/BACKGROUND: The
East Coast Guarding Angels staff is now working as the Missing
You Foundation . Below more details about the Missing
You Foundation can be read for futher information.
The Missing You Foundation was founded
in Michigan with the goal of assisting families, law enforcement,
and media in the search and recovery of missing person cases.
Missing You Foundation services families
in all aspects of a missing persons case, both child and
adult alike.
The Missing You Foundation has several
programs that will benefit our communities, including family
wellness, search and recovery, prevention education and education
for our law enforcement to assure that everyone is aware
of the technological advances in the field.
Jackie Cox, who made the Guarding Angels Organization a
pioneer in our community in the search and recovery field,
is now the State Director of the tri-state area of North
Carolina , South Carolina , and Georgia .
The change has been made because we believe that Missing
You Foundation will be able to serve our communities
with improved service, more resources and with more organizational
values in place.
You can look forward to working with the same familiar faces
as you had with the Guarding Angels of America with the Missing
You Foundation . But, you can also look forward
to more volunteers, more assistance and resources.
The Missing You Foundation would like to express its gratitude
to Katherine Jones, and her late husband Ernie who is allowing
the placement of the Tristen “Buddy” Myers billboard on her
property, Roseboro Service Center , which joins property
with the original search headquarters for the search for
Tristen .
